~ MORE GOOD STUFF ~

Today in New York City if you see women wearing only bathrobes and waving bras it is a guerilla marketing campaign launched by Lifetime Television to promote its new reality series How to Look Good Naked hosted by Carson Kressley, debuting Friday at 9p. The March of the Robes stunt will have 160 women riding public transportation and marching through the streets handing out “Happy Nude Year” cards with a special audio greeting from Kressley and ending with a photo opportunity in Times Square. Since the temperature is near freezing today in NYC, let’s hope those robes are warm! Lifetime will premiere two other reality series this Friday, Matched in Manhattan at 930p and Top This Party at 10p. Previews and video extras of all three new shows are available now via videos.lifetimetv.com in addition to other exclusive original digital content at myLifetime.com.

MTV renewed A Shot At Love With Tila Tequila for a second season with ten new episodes beginning this spring. MTV also made an overall production services deal with A Shot At Love’s production company 495 Productions and executive producer Sally Ann Salsano. The agreement includes developing, supervising, producing and consulting on MTV branded programming.

E! returns on January 7th with a second season of Chelsea Lately, airing at 1130p, starring Chelsea Handler. Season one premiered last July and thru its season increased its time period in key demos by 16%.

~ PRODUCTION & DEVELOPMENT ~

Dick Wolf’s Law & Order has a loyal following in the UK, so it only makes sense Wolf and NBC Universal are in talks with ITV and Kudos Films to develop a Law & Order: London series.  ITV has given the project a 13 episode order, representing the first format deal for the original L&O series.  The show will work off of scripts from the original series, reformatted for the local audience.
