Starting this Sunday, September 28, there’ll be a double dose of CBS Sunday Morning with Charles Osgood. After the morning news program airs on CBS, Smithsonian Channel, a joint venture of CBS Corp.’s Showtime Networks and the Smithsonian Institution, will rebroadcast the show at 2p, and up to four times later during the week. Launched in 1979, Sunday Morning finished the 2013-2014 season as the top Sunday morning news program in viewers and among A25-54 (averaging 5.79 million viewers and 1.4/7 in the demo), posting its best audience delivery since the advent of People Meters in 1987.
