What are three attributes that got you where you are now?

Passion, work ethic, and compassion.

What advice would you give to someone who is looking to enter the market?

Do the little things right, and the “big things” will eventually fall into place. That to me starts with understanding the industry and the specific field you are entering.

Pre-workday, what is your morning ritual?

I never hit the snooze button, I get up and immediately make my bed…I want to start with a small task that I complete to get momentum for what’s ahead. Right after I do that, I always read the trades (Cynopsis included!) with a cup of coffee so I can stay on top of what’s happening in the industry. Then on my commute to work, I will always call a team member to get engaged and ideas flowing before I’m in the office so when I walk in the door, I’m ready to roll.

What about your job keeps you up at night?

My team and making sure they feel appreciated and are happy. I am constantly finding ways to ensure my ream is passionate and happy. Everything else will work itself out.

In an industry brimming with information, what isn’t talked about enough?

Genuinely understanding the drivers of why consumers engage with specific content. In many cases we don’t “peel back the onion” to determine the driving factors of what makes an individual passionate about something – a product, a sports team, a musician. I believe if we can get to the core of what really makes someone “passionate,” it will help us create and deliver more compelling content. Recently, our Endeavor Analytics team did some work fusing social media monitoring, consumer profiling tools, focus groups, and online surveys to understand the nuances of what drives Gen-Z’s passion for music.
