The Cynopsis Sports Leaderboard is open to any organization that utilized its social media platforms to promote its product to sports fans throughout 2015. From global brands to local stations, from million-dollar campaigns to viral-on-a-budget, social media has proven to be the great equalizer. Entries are open to leagues, teams, networks, brands, agencies, digital platforms and more!

WHO SHOULD ENTER:

The Cynopsis Sports Leaderboard is open to all individuals and teams worldwide including: all networks, MSOs, leagues, teams, universities, production companies, studios, producers, developers, marketing and PR firms, and ad agencies. Vendors are also eligible to compete on behalf of a client.

Multiple entries are accepted. Please follow the “How to Enter” instructions below for each additional category you will be entering.


ELIGIBILITY:

To be eligible, the entry/campaign initiative must have taken place (either in part or in full) between November 1, 2014 and October 14, 2015. The sports program or initiative must have taken place during this time, but it’s not necessary for it to be completed during the eligibility period.

Note: Although we welcome international entries/campaigns, they must have been at least partly accessible in the North American market.

All entries are held in strict confidence and we will not share information unless we receive permission from the entrant.


HOW TO ENTER:

The entry process is done solely online:

First, you will be prompted to complete the registration process, followed by the nomination (synopsis + supporting materials) and payment. 

Entry Information:

Please include a 400-word synopsis describing your campaign, content, initiative, website (etc.) using the following sub-headings:

  • Objectives
  • Strategy
  • Tactics
  • Execution
  • Evaluation of Success/Results/ ROI

While these headings are not mandatory, we do recommend using as many as you can as it relates to your entry. The more information provided, the better!

Supporting materials should show evidence of the success of your work.

Examples include:

  • Web sites/URLs
  • ROI Stats
  • Media Coverage
  • Photos
  • Research Documents
  • Screenshots
  • Testimonials
  • Videos*
  • Web Stats

*For videos, we will NOT accept uploads. Instead, please provide a link to view it (YouTube, company’s website or another video sharing platform)

DEADLINES & ENTRY FEES:

Entry Deadline: Wednesday, October 7, 2015   I   Late Deadline: Wednesday, October 14, 2015   I   Awards Events: Wednesday, December 2, 2015   

Entry Fees: The price of each entry is $399. Payment in full must accompany the entry and is not refundable. All entries must be submitted online by Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 11:59pm EST. Entries submitted between Thursday, October 8 and Wednesday, October 14, 2015, will automatically incur a $175 late fee per entry. Winners will be notified in early November and honored on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 in New York City.

Receipts: Once your entry is submitted and paid, you will be emailed a receipt confirming the payment. The receipt includes payment date, amount and card number. You can also download a full Invoice that has all the entries paid for listed on it.
