Collaborators New Form Digital and The Jim Henson Company unveiled the star-studded cast for filmmaker PJ Liguori’s Oscar’s Hotel for Fantastical Creatures, available on Vimeo On Demand on Sept. 15. Digital and traditional talent featured in the series include Chris Kendall, Anna Akana, Mitchell Davis, Grace Helbig, Mamrie Hart, Hannah Hart, Dan Howell, Felix Kjellberg (PewDiePie) and others. “The series embodies what New Form is all about – building creators’ visions into premium scripted originals,” said Kathleen Grace, Chief Creative Officer for New Form Digital.
 
Ovation TV
inked deals with YouTube channel Kuma Films and YT creator David Poland to produce specials for linear and VOD. Working with Ovation Digital Arts, Kuma Films will debut a documentary and additional performance videos on the network this fall. And today is the launch of Poland’s series of specials, Celebrity Conversations, based on his channel DP/30: The Oral History of Hollywood.
 

 
NEW PROGRAMMING + DEALS

 
Dolphin Digital Media
’s original series South Beach premieres exclusively on Hulu on July 29. Verizon is anchor sponsor for the series, with AOL as a promotional partner. Leading up to the debut, AOL will roll out teasers, cast interviews and lifestyle features on Miami’s fashion, music and nightlife scenes.
 
Vubiquity signed a deal with Turner Broadcasting to capture and process Turner’s C3 and D4 VOD content for On Demand distribution. Starting in September, Vubiquity will acquire live broadcast feeds directly from Turner, capturing C3 shows based on the schedule using a SCTE specification.
 

 
CONTENT MEDIA
 

Red Bull TV’s offerings this week include the first three episodes of Changing Lanes, On Track – Season Two Premiere and a live stream of UCI BMX World Championships 2015: Hot Battles in Belgium on July 25 at 11:30a ET. Programming is available at Redbull.tv and through its app on multiple devices.
 
Animator Fred Seibert’s Channel Frederator Network secured 328 million views in June, a 12 percent increase over May, with 27 million total subscribers. The MCN added 116 new channels to the network, including Tony Crynight, VivziePop, and KanashiiPanda. Tooned Up!, which launched in February, generated more than 22 million views and is on track to hit an additional 20 million views in July alone.
 
CNN.com recorded its highest month ever in video streams for June, with 212 million streams, beating Yahoo News and BuzzFeed for the second month in a row. CNN.com also snagged 18 million unique visitors last month, and boasts 1.2 billion minutes consumed (comScore Video Metrix).

ADVERTISING + AD PLATFORMS
 

Video content distribution platform Cinema6 and measuring firm Moat are creating a new viewability standard that takes video and audio completion into consideration for advertisers. “The announcement is more about a guarantee to advertisers that they don’t pay for non-Audible and Visible On Complete impressions, more so than a guarantee that every impression meets this threshold,” said Jonah Goodhart, Moat CEO and Co-Founder.
 
GoPro launched a video service specifically for marketers and brands for use in campaigns. Called GoPro Licensing, the platform will feature more than 600 videos from both amateur and professional videographers, with vids starting at $1,000 a piece.
