Rodric David

Thunder
An Australian born serial entrepreneur, Rodric David is the Founder and CEO of Thunder. Thunder is a fully integrated digital media company operating in Los Angeles, California focused on youth culture, gaming, music, User Generated Content, and the Metaverse. The company mission is to “Empower Creators.”
Rodric oversees all of Thunder’s divisions that includes: Thunder Studios, providing integrated studio and production services to the entertainment industry, as well as producing original content and programming in a variety of genres from its 150,000 square foot production facility; Thunder Gaming, producing and broadcasting live esports tournaments and gaming programing for the world’s leading brands and game publishers; Thunder Music, promoting and producing live music festivals in the Metaverse from its XR stage using Thunder’s Infinite Reality virtualization technology; and Thunder Broadcasting, which features a fleet of mobile broadcast trucks that service customers throughout the USA and Mexico providing live broadcasting services for sports, concerts, parades, award shows, and special events.
Additionally, Rodric oversees Infinite Reality, Thunder’s Metaverse virtualization technology platform that is set to grow exponentially after successful beta tests of Virtual Burning Man in September 2020 and Cyberwurld on NYE 2020. Through Thunder’s content production, Rodric has served as an executive producer on “Paradise Cove” starring Todd Grinnell, Kristin Bauer van Straten and Mena Suvari; “9/11” starring Charlie Sheen, Gina Gershon and Whoopi Goldberg; as well as Kristin Stewart’s short film “Come Swim.”
In 2019 and 2020 Rodric was awarded patents from the United States Patent Office for his invention titled “Content – Activated Intelligent, autonomous audio/ video source controller”. Commercialization of these patents will be undertaken by Thunder’s technology division, and RBS (Remote Broadcast Studio) is slated to launch in late 2021 with a revolutionary live streaming platform to dramatically empower creators.
Rodric graduated from the University of Southern California in 1993 and returned to Sydney shortly thereafter. Prior to relocating back to the United States in 2012, Rodric held senior executive roles in distribution technology in Malaysia and founded property development companies in Australia and the UAE. Rodric is a sought-after guest speaker on trends in gaming, esports, and digital media.
