The sold-out, 6th annual Cynopsis Digital Model D Awards took place today at ThreeSixty in TriBeca New York. The news at the start of the event that the table with the loudest cheers would win a bottle of champagne kept things lively, as well as presenters Carlos Greer, who started off the morning with a little Page Six gossip; Chris “I’m sorry I’m not Drake” Jones, high energy star of Facebook Watch series Double Take, who offered a burst of song to accompany the background music; and Roddy Kennedy, star of streaming reality series Thursday in the Park – plus, an actor in Hamilton - who got the crowd cheering to determine who nabbed that bubbly. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, Rising Star Award as well as Model D winners offered mostly heartfelt thanks to their teams, including unsung video editors and engineers.
Digital Model D winners were recognized in more than 46 categories that spanned content, marketing, talent, tech/tools and more. A sampling of “It List” inductees included executives from Harman, Intel, MediaCom, Mindshare NA, NASCAR, Publicis Media, Universal McCann, and WEtv, to name just a few.
