Craig James, the commentator Fox Sports fired two years ago after just two days on the job, is suing the network for religious discrimination. The former NFL player and one-time Senate hopeful, who made it clear on the campaign trail he opposed gay marriage and thought being gay was a choice, is seeking a minimum of $100,000 in damages. Calling the allegations baseless, Fox responded, “Craig James is a polarizing figure in the college sports community and the decision not to use him…was based on the perception that he abused a previous on-air position to further a personal agenda.”
